Jasón Wells

Jasón Wells (Teacher) is a junior at Montclair State University, where he is majoring in Musical Theatre. With the hopes of being a performer on stage/ behind screen, he has trained in many dance styles, including Musical Theatre, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary/ Lyrical, and Hip Hop. With a love for kids and working on his craft, he has been given the opportunity to teach classes at different studios around New Jersey and loves to challenge the students to keep their energy positive and encourage other dancers to try their hardest in class.

Since Jasón is a Musical Theatre Major, he’s performed with different theater companies across NJ doing shows like Newsies, West Side Story, The Fully Monty, Bring it On, and many more. He was also on an award winning show-choir with PaperMill Playhouse.

At Montclair state, he was Dance Captain to the Montclair State Dance Company where they won first place at a competition. They also went on to Delaware State University and competed amongst other colleges. Jasón won a scholarship to be a Phoenix Fire 2019 Apprentice to train with professionals and assist well known choreographers in New York City with Liberate Artists. With this gratifying experience, it’s opened up other doors for him, and he can’t wait to see what the future has in store for him!
